That is the question..
To anyone on the net, I could've died.. but no, I'm alive.. And now I'm typing this for all who care to read it.
I've finished highschool with a pass in all my subjects, and yes, I did get to drop accounting and spend my spare classes hugging my beloved. ;-)
Which I should note has been more than a year-long relationship now! Lovin' you as much as always, princess!
Anyways.. I'm at TAFE now. North Melbourne Institute of TAFE, to be exact, or NMIT. I'm studying Equine Stud Management and loving it! Which I find quite amusing because, although I've always liked horses, I was actually quite afraid of the lumbering creatures (and I call myself a dragon fan *tsk tsk*). Well, after the teacher told me on my first day to go and "catch that horse", pointing to a retired racehorse, I was, blatantly? Freaking out! "What am I doing here, my god.." and "I've got no future in this!" are some of the thoughts running through my head.
But yeah, as soon as I learned what buttons I had available to me, and how easy it was to push them and control the horse, I was scott-free of my fear, and darn happy to continue with horses.
I've now worked with geldings, weanlings, a few foals and a mare in particular with a really nasty "gash", as they called it (ie, nothing but bone and a tendon on its off hind leg. Right, aka offside; left = nearside, because you handle horses from the left).
I'm quite satisfied with how far I've come in this course already, and my teacher told me that a few students from another class had asked how long I had been working with horses after observing me walking one fiesty weanling. I felt - to be honest? - proud of myself.
Well, I'm sitting up late typing this, when infact, I should be going to bed and sleeping, because tomorrow is the last day I get a chance to do my assignment task on occupational health and safety, but do you blame me? Didn't think so.
..Oh, yeah! I have an excuse! One reason I haven't been around is because of my lack of COMPUTER... Yeah, my dubbed "Harrier" gaming computer ("LOLSIF" Stfu, agret!) decided to 'kthxbye'.. And that was that, the motherboard was not the colour it should be, lol, and I had no choice but to get on dad's computer after about 2 months of not caring about much electronic at all (except television... mm... TV). Yeah, well I've got parts picked out.. Seeing "Harrier" was an oldie, with ripoff parts, the mobo was too hard to find, so yeah.. I've got a list done of what I want in my next beastie.. Ranging from a GeForce 9600GT to a Foxconn P35 Mars.. I'm just yet to actually go out and look at some prices to get my rig done.. Till then, and for now, I'm residing on dad's *cough* old *cough* crap *cough* business computer! . . .
Okay, my screen is blurry. Wtf? Wait.. so is the desk, and the keyboard! MY GOD! IT'S SPREADING!
Jackaroo Dragon, out.
